Apple Launches Apps for Windows Users

Apple is rolling out its Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Devices apps for Windows users this week. These apps, previously in preview, are now officially launched after collaboration between Apple and Microsoft. With an updated iCloud for Windows app, the goal is to reduce reliance on iTunes for Windows users.
The trio of apps serves various purposes. The Apple Music app grants access to iTunes libraries, song purchases, and albums. Apple TV enables users to watch movies, TV shows, and streaming content from their iTunes library. Apple Devices facilitates backing up, restoring, and syncing iPhones and iPads for PC owners.
Microsoft has collaborated with Apple on these apps and welcomes their release. Additionally, Microsoft has integrated iCloud Photos into Windows, allowing users to link their iCloud Photos library to the built-in Photos app on Windows 11.
These new apps are compatible only with traditional x86-based PCs running Windows 10 or Windows 11. However, there is no indication yet of ARM64 versions for Qualcomm-powered Windows devices.
