Cyberpunk Live-Action Film Will Tell a New Story, CD Projekt Says
1 min read
CD Projekt says its live-action Cyberpunk project will tell an original story set in the franchise universe rather than retelling the plot of Cyberpunk 2077. Co-CEO Michał Nowakowski discussed the direction in an interview reported on October 16.
A separate story in Night City
The project is being developed with Paramount. The comments indicate the film will draw on the wider Cyberpunk setting while following a different story, rather than adapting V’s game narrative. No release date, cast or further production details have been announced.
The project remains in development, so details may change. Read the report: https://www.gamesradar.com/entertainment/live-action-movies/cd-projekt-red-hints-that-the-live-action-cyberpunk-movie-will-be-an-original-story/
