Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Expansion Out Now

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is officially out today, October 9, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.

The expansion adds The Bitterblack Trench, a sprawling endgame labyrinth built for high-level Arisen. Players will face more aggressive enemy variants and hunt for cursed equipment to purify.

Two new hybrid Vocations also join the game: Spellblade and Spirit Weaver, offering fresh combat options for experienced players.

On Switch 2, the expansion uses dynamic frame generation to target 60 FPS in performance mode, according to technical breakdowns.
