EA Sports FC 27: New Features Coming September 24

EA Sports FC 27 launches worldwide on September 24, bringing major changes to gameplay, Career Mode, Ultimate Team, and online features.

Gameplay Changes

Defending is becoming more manual. Automatic tackles have been removed, while players get more control through improved jockey movement and a wider manual tackle range.

Attacking AI is also smarter, with better off-the-ball runs and positioning. Corners have been overhauled, allowing players to control receivers inside the box before the kick.

Career Mode

Career Mode gets a new transfer system using Expected Transfer Value (xTV). Player values can change based on form, morale, league strength, and market trends.

Transfers now happen in stages, with rival clubs able to hijack deals. Players can also change their wage demands during negotiations.

Ultimate Team

FUT will offer more tradeable rewards from Objectives, Rivals, and Champions.

A new FUT Gallery lets players display their favorite Player Items and earn milestone rewards. Champions Qualification Points can also be earned through both Rivals and Squad Battles.

The Grounds

A new social hub called The Grounds brings together 1v1s, Kickabouts, and Clubs progression.

It will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Switch 2.
