GTA 6 Map Leak Gives Fans a Closer Look at Leonida

1 min read

he internet is buzzing over a massive GTA 6 map leak. A group called Cyberleek has reportedly shared what appears to be a full, in-game map of the Leonida region.

Rockstar is reportedly working to remove the leaked images from social media. Fans, meanwhile, have been studying the map and looking for new details.

A Massive Map

The leaked map appears to be much larger than GTA V's Los Santos. Early estimates suggest it could be around twice the size of Rockstar's previous open world.

The map also appears to have no panhandle. That gives the world a different shape from earlier versions of the leaked map that fans have seen.

Five Different Counties

Fans have identified five main areas on the leaked map. These include Vice Dale, Lummox, Leonard, Kelly, and Mariana.

Vice Dale appears to contain a large metropolitan area and a major airport. Lummox features forests and Mount Kalaga.

Leonard seems to focus on suburban areas. Kelly has more open land, while Mariana includes swamps and bayous.

Boats Could Play a Big Role

The map also contains several smaller islands. Dalton Island and Gloriana Key are among the locations fans have spotted.

The number of islands and waterways has led to more speculation about boat travel. Players could have plenty of opportunities to explore the coast and travel across the water.

More GTA 6 Details Could Be Coming

The timing of the leak is especially interesting. Rockstar is preparing to premiere an official extended look at GTA 6 on Netflix on August 27.

The leaked map remains unconfirmed by Rockstar. Until the company officially reveals more, fans should treat these details as leaks rather than confirmed game features.
