Netflix Unveils New Look with Smarter Recommendations and AI Search

Netflix is rolling out a fresh new design to make it easier for users to find something to watch.

According to Netflix’s chief product officer, Eunice Kim, the new TV layout is “still the one you know and love — just better.” The update keeps the familiar feel but makes things simpler and more helpful.

One big change: you’ll now see clearer information about each film or show. Netflix will tell you why it’s recommending something — like if it’s trending or has won awards. These suggestions will also adjust in real time, based on your mood and interests.

Finding your favorite tools like Search and My List is also getting easier with more obvious shortcuts.

Netflix describes the update as a “clean and modern design” and says it will roll out over the next few weeks and months.

Another big addition is the use of AI-powered search. Starting on iOS, some users will be able to search using natural phrases like “I need a good cry” or “something funny and upbeat.” This is the first step, but more AI features could be on the way.
