Kristina Ozturk is a 26-year-old woman who currently has 22 children, and she says she won’t stop until she has over 100. She lives in Georgia and has over 200,000 followers on Instagram. She’s had one child herself and the other 21 via surrogate. Twenty of her children were all born in just over one year.
Kristina’s husband is a millionaire who fled to Turkey after a court approved his life sentence related to a murder back in 1990. He was also the subject of an outstanding court warrant for tax evasion, forgery, and money laundering. He was arrested in Georgia last year and was sentenced to eight years for drug possession.
Despite her husband’s criminal history, Kristina says that she will not stop until she has exactly 105 biological children.
Is having that many children a recipe for neglect or an impressive feat of motherhood?
There is no easy answer to this question. On the one hand, it is difficult to imagine how one person could adequately care for and nurture so many children. On the other hand, Christina clearly has a strong maternal instinct and is determined to provide her children with a loving home.
Ultimately, it is up to each individual to decide whether or not they believe that having 105 children is a responsible decision.
