Publisher investigates player complaints

SEGA and Creative Assembly say they are working with platform partners to temporarily remove Total War: SHOGUN 2 Complete Edition from sale while they investigate problems reported by players. The publisher says people who already own the edition will still be able to access and play it.

The Complete Edition launched on October 13 for PC. It combines the updated strategy game with its downloadable content, and SEGA says the team is reviewing the release and working to address the issues. The company has not announced when sales will resume.

What owners should know

Existing owners can continue to access their purchase while the investigation is underway. For official details, read the publisher’s Steam announcement and the SEGA support FAQ.
