Chelsea secured a thrilling 4-2 victory over Leicester at Stamford Bridge to advance to the FA Cup semi-finals. Despite a comfortable lead at half-time through goals from Marc Cucurella and Cole Palmer, a freak own goal by Axel Disasi and a stunning strike from Stephy Mavididi leveled the score for Leicester. Chelsea were denied a penalty after a VAR review showed the foul was outside the box, but Leicester’s Callum Doyle received a red card. Carney Chukwuemeka’s late goal sealed the win for Chelsea, although Noni Madueke scored for Leicester in stoppage time. Chelsea’s triumph earns them a spot at Wembley next month.
