Manchester United played out a 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, squandering numerous chances throughout the match. United, who lost 4-0 to Palace in May, dominated the first half but couldn’t capitalize. Alejandro Garnacho came close twice, with Dean Henderson making a crucial save and Garnacho later hitting the crossbar. Bruno Fernandes also struck the woodwork, while Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee threatened from Christian Eriksen’s corners.
Despite United’s control, Palace had their moments, with Eberechi Eze missing a close-range shot in the second half after Andre Onana denied him just before halftime. Onana continued his heroics in the second half with a brilliant double save to stop efforts from Eddie Nketiah and Ismaila Sarr.
