Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the season with a convincing 4-1 victory over Ipswich Town at the Etihad Stadium, despite an early setback. Erling Haaland starred with a hat-trick, while Kevin De Bruyne added another goal to overturn Sammie Szmodics’ surprising opener for Ipswich.
The win puts City at the top of the table with six points from two matches, following their previous triumph against Chelsea. Although Ipswich managed to keep the score relatively close, they were ultimately outclassed by Pep Guardiola’s formidable side.
