Liverpool delivered a clinical performance to defeat Manchester United in a pre-season friendly on Saturday night.
Fabio Carvalho, Curtis Jones, and Kostas Tsimikas scored for Arne Slot’s team, while Manchester United created numerous chances but now head into the Community Shield with three losses in five games this summer.
Next, Manchester United will face their neighbors, Manchester City, in the Community Shield at Wembley, kicking off at 3pm BST on Saturday, August 10.
The following day, Liverpool will host Sevilla at Anfield for a friendly match and then play against Las Palmas behind closed doors. Both teams will start their Premier League campaigns the weekend after.
