Manchester United cruised to a dominant 7-0 victory over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup third round. Despite an underwhelming start, Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the 16th minute, followed by a penalty from Antony. Alejandro Garnacho added a third just before half-time. Garnacho scored again early in the second half, with Rashford netting his second soon after. Erik ten Hag’s side continued their relentless attack, with Eriksen scoring twice in the final minutes. United’s altered lineup comfortably outclassed the League One side, advancing to the next round with ease.
