Martin Ødegaard’s late strike secured a 2–1 win for Arsenal over Southampton on the final day of the Premier League season.
Already guaranteed a Champions League spot, Arsenal still needed a win to stay ahead of Manchester City. Kieran Tierney, in his farewell game, put the Gunners ahead just before halftime. Southampton responded early in the second half through Ross Stewart, but Ødegaard’s 89th-minute goal sealed all three points.
Arsenal finish second, while Southampton head back to the Championship after a tough season.
