West Ham briefly equalized when Rúben Dias deflected Jarrod Bowen’s cross into his own net, but Haaland restored City’s lead with a powerful close-range strike in the 30th minute. Despite West Ham’s efforts, including Mohammed Kudus hitting the post, Haaland sealed the win in the 83rd minute by lifting a shot over substitute keeper Lukasz Fabianski. This marked Haaland’s seventh goal in three games this season and his 70th Premier League goal in just 69 appearances.
