Arsenal stayed six points behind Premier League leaders Liverpool after securing a 1-0 win over Wolves, thanks to a superb goal by substitute Riccardo Calafiori. The match took a contentious turn when Myles Lewis-Skelly was sent off with a straight red card for a late tackle on Matt Doherty just before halftime. Despite being down to 10 men, Arsenal dominated the second half. The game changed when Joao Gomes received a second yellow card for a foul on Jurriën Timber in the 70th minute. With both teams having 10 men, Calafiori capitalized on a poor clearance by Nelson Semedo to score a low half-volley into the corner. Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya delivered a solid performance as his side moved ahead of their title chase. Wolves, on the other hand, suffered a fourth consecutive defeat, staying just outside the relegation zone, with only goal difference separating them from Ipswich, who lost 4-1 to Liverpool.
