Steam Hits New Record With Over 43.5 Million Concurrent Users

Steam set a new record on October 11, reaching 43,505,724 concurrent users, according to SteamDB figures reported by GamesRadar+.
The milestone beats Steam's previous record of around 42.7 million users, set in March 2026.
However, the figure counts everyone using Steam at the same time, not just people actively playing games. It includes users browsing the store and using other platform features.
The new record shows another peak in Steam's concurrent user numbers as PC gaming continues to draw large audiences.
