Apple’s public beta program is about to get very busy. The first public betas for iOS 18, macOS Sequoia, and other major updates are expected to be released soon. Upcoming Public Beta Releases

Public betas will be available for most of Apple’s devices, but not all. The expected public betas include:

  • iOS 18
  • iPadOS 18
  • macOS Sequoia
  • watchOS 11
  • tvOS 18
  • HomePod software 18

Each device has specific instructions for installing the public beta, which you can find on the beta enrollment website.

One notable exception is the Vision Pro. Apple has never offered a public beta for Vision Pro, limiting it to developers only. This will still be the case for visionOS 2 this summer.

Are you planning to install the public betas when they release? Which beta are you most excited about?
