Google Pixel 9 Pro Revealed Early: Specs, Design, and More
The Google Pixel 9 Pro has been extensively leaked recently, revealing much about its design and specifications ahead of the official release. In response, Google released a teaser video titled “Introducing the Google Pixel 9 Pro,” which highlights Google Gemini, indicating that AI features will be a significant focus for the phone.
The teaser gives us a glimpse of the Pixel 9 Pro’s back, confirming previous leaks. The phone has rounded corners, flat edges, and a fresh take on Google’s iconic camera bar. It features three rear cameras, a flash, and the temperature sensor first introduced with the Pixel 8 Pro.
Recent leaks suggest the Pixel 9 Pro will come equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, an ultrawide camera, and a telephoto camera. It is also expected to feature the new Tensor G4 chipset and promises at least seven years of software updates, emphasizing Google’s commitment to long-term support.
In addition to the Pixel 9 Pro, other models such as the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold are expected to be unveiled. While it’s unclear if Google will release teasers for these other models, the full reveal is set for August 13 at the Made by Google event.
With just a few weeks until the event, we won’t have to wait long to get all the official details and end the cycle of leaks and teasers surrounding the new Pixel lineup.
