Almost every new smartphone released in the last few years has dual-SIM functionality. You can use two different phone numbers on the same device with this feature. Unfortunately, WhatsApp, one of the most popular messaging apps in the world, does not allow you to use two accounts on the same device. Most Android users opt for ‘Dual WhatsApp’ by using the app cloning feature to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on a single smartphone. Only a small percentage of users install third-party apps in order to use two WhatsApp accounts. However, iPhone users do not have access to such features.
You can use two different WhatsApp accounts on a single iPhone thanks to WhatsApp Business, WhatsApp’s sibling app. The WhatsApp Business app is similar to the regular version, but it includes a few additional features that make it appropriate for business owners. On a single device, you can currently use these two versions of WhatsApp with two different phone numbers. You can use these steps to learn how to use two WhatsApp accounts on a single iPhone.
Open the App Store on your Apple iPhone.
Search for WhatsApp Business.
Tap on the Get icon and install the app on your iPhone.
Once the app is installed, open it and tap on Agree & Continue button.
You will be presented with two options in a new window. Select the second option from the drop-down menu. You can use your existing WhatsApp account as a Business account with the first option. The second option lets you create new WhatsApp Business accounts using a different phone number.
Enter the number that you want to use for your second WhatsApp account.
Verify the number by entering the OTP that you received on the number provided.
Enter your name and in the option below select ‘not a business’ option.
Tap on done.
