Nothing Phone 2a Plus Set to Launch on July 31
The Nothing Phone 2a Plus, the second model in the lineup, is scheduled to be unveiled on July 31. Earlier this year, the company introduced the Nothing Phone 2a, which features a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The upcoming Plus variant is expected to offer better features than the current model. Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis hinted at some of these upgrades in a recent social media post.
Teased Features of Nothing Phone 2a Plus
Akis Evangelidis, co-founder of Nothing, mentioned in a recent post on X that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will be a “beefed-up version” of the Phone 2a. He stated that the new Phone 2a Plus will have “more processing power” and other “improvements that didn’t require hardware design changes.”
This suggests that the Nothing Phone 2a Plus will likely come with a more powerful chipset than the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro found in the current Phone 2a model. The design is expected to remain similar to the existing handset. More details and teasers are expected as the launch date approaches.
