Apple is Adding 3 More Useful Upgrades on iOS 18.2

With iOS 18.1 now fully released, the iOS 18.2 update is in developer beta testing, revealing new features on the way. Among the upgrades is an expansion to the Find My service: users will soon be able to share the location of lost items with anyone, not just trusted contacts. This could be useful for scenarios like sharing lost luggage locations with an airline. The shared link will remain active for a few hours, and users can stop sharing at any time.
Another behind-the-scenes enhancement allows app developers to make in-app content visible to Siri. This update could let Siri (or even ChatGPT) respond to commands based on what's displayed in an app, like photos or documents, provided the app supports this feature.
On the iPhone 16 series, a new option for locking auto-exposure and auto-focus settings is being added to the Camera Control button. Additionally, a setting to adjust double-click speed (Default, Slow, and Slower) is being introduced, adding to the button's current functions for zoom and exposure.
With a tentative release in early December, iOS 18.2 is also expected to include ChatGPT integration with a Plus upgrade option and image generation features.
