Fortnite Battle Royale is celebrating its 9th anniversary today, September 26, with special Birthday Power Hours.
Epic Games is running two three-hour event sessions across different regions. During these sessions, players will get special birthday modifiers in every match.
Every player will start with a guaranteed Birthday Present. The Exotic Balloon Popper Assault Rifle is also returning as a special drop.
Birthday Sprites will let players collect cake slices, 1-Up Tokens, and Portable Extractors from Chests.
The anniversary event gives players a limited-time way to celebrate nine years of Fortnite Battle Royale.
