Minecraft Live 2026 has revealed several major updates, including a brand-new dimension and details on the next seasonal update.
The Pale Realm Revealed
Mojang unveiled The Pale Realm, the first entirely new dimension added to Minecraft since the End.
The new dimension features inverted gravity zones, glowing flora, and a light-draining hostile mob called the Glimmer. It’s scheduled to arrive in early 2027.
Deep Freeze Update
The upcoming Deep Freeze update will add large Ice Cave biomes, frostbite hazards, and craftable mountain sleds.
Minecraft Dungeons II Pre-Loads
Pre-downloads for Minecraft Dungeons II are now live on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch 2.
The co-op dungeon crawler sequel launches on September 29.
