GTA 6 Leak Fallout Escalates as Microsoft Joins Rockstar

The fallout from the recent GTA 6 leaks is getting bigger. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive are now receiving help from major tech companies as they try to find the source of the leaked material.

Microsoft is reportedly working with Take-Two and Rockstar to investigate the leaks. Xbox Chief Technology Officer Scott Van Vliet confirmed that Microsoft is helping the companies protect their intellectual property.

The move shows how seriously the companies are treating the situation. The leaked GTA 6 material has spread across several online platforms.

Take-Two is also taking legal steps to identify those behind the leaks. The company has reportedly issued several DMCA subpoenas.

The subpoenas target Microsoft, Discord, and Google. Take-Two is seeking information and records that could help identify the people connected to the “Cyberleek” name.

The goal is to stop the spread of leaked material and determine who is responsible for releasing it.

The investigation comes just days before Rockstar’s planned GTA 6 extended look on August 27. The timing has made the leaks even more significant for the company.

For now, the investigation remains ongoing. Rockstar and Take-Two are working with their technology partners as they try to contain the situation and protect GTA 6 ahead of its official presentation.
