Silver Palace has a global release date. Elementa says its detective action RPG will launch on December 14, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS and Android. The publisher’s announcement specifies the date in UTC+8, without an exact unlock hour, so a Nigerian launch time cannot yet be calculated reliably.
The official press release also reports more than 15 million global pre-registrations. That is an indication of advance interest, rather than a count of people already playing. It should not be described as launch sales, active users or concurrent players.
Built with Unreal Engine 5, Silver Palace combines investigation with real-time action in a Victorian-inspired industrial city. Companions, competing interests and mysteries around Silverium provide the setting for a game that wants detective work to be part of its identity, rather than just a reason to move between fights.
The detective premise is the main attraction
There are plenty of action RPGs asking players to assemble a group and learn combat combinations. Silver Palace’s more distinctive proposition is the possibility of treating a city as something to understand. A suspicious meeting, an industrial district or an apparently ordinary resident can carry a different meaning when the player is looking for evidence.
The challenge for this kind of game is making observation feel worthwhile. If an investigation simply points to the next highlighted object, the detective theme becomes decoration. If the player has room to notice connections and test an interpretation, the quieter parts can become as memorable as a battle.
That is a question for the finished game, not a judgement based on promotional footage. The release announcement establishes the intended mixture of activities. It does not yet show how consistently the mysteries will hold together across a full-length adventure.
For anyone following the game because of its setting, that distinction is useful. Stylish streets and elaborate costumes can establish a strong first impression, but the lasting appeal will depend on what players are asked to do in those spaces.
Life beyond individual cases
The PlayStation listing describes detective mysteries alongside relationships with companions and activities such as property ambitions and spending time in a café. It lists online play as required, optional in-game purchases and a single online player. PS5 Pro enhancement, DualSense vibration and Game Help are also listed.
Those details suggest a game interested in giving the protagonist a place in the city beyond the next case. Whether that feels natural will depend on how the different activities fit together. A café can be a convincing social space, or it can become another menu to clear. A property system can add personal goals, or it can distract from the part of the game a player came to enjoy.
The useful thing to watch in longer demonstrations is the transition between activities. How quickly can a player move from exploring to investigating? Does a conversation lead somewhere interesting? Are the optional systems clearly explained? Those practical details can reveal more about the experience than another montage of combat finishes.
The online requirement is also worth knowing before installation. Players who expect an entirely offline detective adventure should check the platform listing carefully rather than infer that from the single-player presentation.
What PC players can check now
The Epic Games Store page currently lists a Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, 12GB RAM and a GTX 1060 6GB or RX 580 8GB as minimum specifications. Its recommended tier moves to a Core i7-12700 or Ryzen 7 5800X, at least 16GB RAM and an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT. Controller support is listed.
Those requirements are a starting point for checking compatibility. They are not a promise of a particular resolution, frame rate or visual preset. The listing does not attach those performance targets to the tiers, so it would be misleading to turn the numbers into a guaranteed experience.
If your machine is near the minimum, wait for launch testing on comparable hardware. Processor and graphics-card names alone cannot describe every laptop configuration, cooling limit or storage setup. A desktop benchmark on a different system may also tell you less than a careful test of the hardware you actually own.
For mobile players, the PC requirements say nothing about whether a specific phone will cope well. Use the relevant app-store compatibility information and any device guidance from Elementa when it becomes available. Cross-platform availability does not mean equal settings or performance on every device.
The earlier test was a technical checkpoint
In September, Automaton reported that Silver Studio and Elementa were recruiting for the Dichotomy: Retrace technical test. The developers described work on platform adaptation and performance. That test covered Windows, Android and iOS, used an unfinished build and warned that its data would be wiped.
This history helps explain why old footage needs context. A technical test can reveal a direction without representing the final interface, balance or performance. It is useful evidence of what the team was testing, but it should not be treated as a substitute for reviewing the release version.
It also means prospective players should pay attention to dates when reading guides. A registration deadline from October is not the same thing as a current launch opportunity. Similarly, instructions for joining a closed test may no longer describe how to access the finished game.
What to watch before December 14
The next practical information to look for is an exact server-opening time, final device guidance and clear details about launch rewards. Elementa’s pre-registration campaign has milestone rewards, but players should read the official claim conditions instead of assuming every advertised item appears automatically on every account.
For the game itself, the key test will be whether investigation and action strengthen each other. A good mystery can give a confrontation meaning. A well-designed city can make the search for a witness feel like exploration rather than an errand. Those are the qualities that could give Silver Palace an identity beyond its visual presentation.
December 14 is now the date to watch. Until Elementa supplies the unlock hour, Nigerian players should keep that as the publisher’s announced UTC+8 date and wait for a precise local-time conversion.
