Bukayo Saka opened the scoring for Arsenal in the ninth minute, slotting Ben White’s lofted pass past Liverpool’s Caoimhín Kelleher at the near post, marking his 50th Premier League goal. Virgil van Dijk leveled it up soon after, heading in a Luis Díaz flick from a corner.
Arsenal created multiple chances, with Saka firing over the bar and Kai Havertz missing a cross from Gabriel Martinelli. Fans called for a penalty when Ibrahima Konaté brought down Martinelli, but referee Anthony Taylor saw no foul. Van Dijk noted the comeback effort as Liverpool “take the point and move on.”
