Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct Reveals Ocarina of Time Remake and More

Nintendo has celebrated The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary with several major announcements.
The biggest reveal was an official remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The remake features overhauled visuals, a jump button, and fully voiced cutscenes.
It will launch on November 5, putting its release just before GTA 6.
New Zelda Hardware
Nintendo also announced a special Zelda-themed Switch 2 console. The new system is scheduled to launch in October.
New Amiibo figures featuring Young Link and Young Zelda were also revealed as part of the anniversary celebrations.
The Zelda Movie Gets Its Title
Nintendo also shared a new detail about the upcoming live-action Zelda movie.
The film will officially be titled The Legend of Zelda.
With the remake, new hardware, Amiibo figures, and movie details, Nintendo had plenty to show during its Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct.
