Apple Intelligence to Launch Next Week with iOS 18.1 and AirPods Pro 2 Features

Apple is set to roll out its Apple Intelligence features next week, alongside iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. As part of the update, AirPods Pro 2 will gain hearing aid capabilities, which require iOS 18.1 and a firmware update for the earbuds. The AirPods will be able to perform hearing tests and function as FDA-approved hearing aids for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Apple Intelligence introduces several new tools, including Writing Tools for proofreading and rewriting, Smart Replies for quick message responses, Notification Summaries, a Clean Up feature in Photos, and a redesigned Siri interface. These updates will be available on iPhone and iPad with the new software versions.

While Apple Intelligence is supported on devices like the iPhone 16 lineup and iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, it will not be accessible on models as recent as the standard iPhone 15. The delay in the launch of these features, initially set for October, has left some iPhone 16 owners waiting longer than expected. However, with the official release now confirmed, excitement is building for Apple’s latest AI-powered advancements.
