Google’s Gemini Rolls Out Scheduled Actions

Google is enhancing Gemini with a new “scheduled actions” feature, available to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. This lets users assign tasks for specific times — like getting daily calendar summaries or weekly blog ideas. It also supports one-time tasks, such as requesting an event recap the next day.
Users can manage these actions through the “scheduled actions” section in the Gemini app settings. First spotted in April by Android Authority, the feature marks a move toward making Gemini more of an active, task-oriented assistant.
A similar capability is already offered by OpenAI’s ChatGPT, which can handle reminders and recurring tasks for its subscribers.
