IOS 16 Release Date Announced, IPhone SE 3 Launch Confirmed: To Be Called IPhone SE 2022?
The release date for iOS 16 has been rumored to be around late 2022. Apple will make the announcement during this year’s WWDC conference in June. The next iOS 16 is expected to include virtual reality capabilities, although iOS 16 may not support the iPhone 6S series at this time. The iPhones with an A10 chip will be the only ones that can run the new iOS 16.
According to tech news outlets, iOS 16 will not operate on earlier iPhones such as the iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus, and first-generation iPhone SE, and it will not run on iPad mini-4, iPad Air 2, 5th generation iPad, and the 2015 iPad Pro.
Apple withdrew support for the iPhone 6 series and other older iPhone and iPad devices in iOS 13 in 2019, and the iPhone 6S series will be dropped from the iOS 16 support list next year. When it comes to iOS 16 features, a slew of new features are expected. It is expected to include virtual reality capabilities, which previous Apple devices would not support, necessitating the use of iPhones with an A10 chip to run iOS 16.
In terms of the iPhone SE 3 debut, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman recently revealed that Apple’s first virtual event of 2022 will take place in either March or April, and will feature the unveiling of the forthcoming iPhone SE 2022.
Apple is expected to introduce the new 27-inch iMac and high-end Mac mini models with M1 Pro and M1 Max CPUs at the same virtual event as the new iPhone SE 3. The iPhone SE 2022 will have the same old look to bring back memories for users.
